How NivoTouch handles information.

NivoTouch is made by Webgenic Solutions. This page covers the tablet app and this website. It is not legal advice. The Google Play listing includes Play’s data safety details. App Store privacy labels apply when that listing is live.

The NivoTouch app

NivoTouch is built so a person can communicate without creating an account. We do not run a NivoTouch cloud for vocabulary, photos, or recordings. What you add on the board stays on that tablet.

On the device, NivoTouch stores:

Local data is encrypted on the tablet. The PIN only locks caregiver tools. It is not a password you type to open a backup.

The app may ask for:

Backup and restore is a Pro feature. A backup is an encrypted file on the tablet. You choose where that file is kept. NivoTouch does not upload it.

If more than one person uses the same tablet, Pro can keep separate communicators on that device. Those profiles are not stored with us.

This website

You can read about NivoTouch without sending us anything. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell information from this site.

If you use the contact page, we receive the name, email, topic, and message you enter so we can reply. We keep that message only as long as we need it to answer you, or until you ask us to delete it.

The contact page includes a check to reduce automated spam. That check is processed by the provider that supplies it. We do not use it to build a marketing list.

Children and families

NivoTouch is often used with children and other people who need support to communicate. The app does not send their vocabulary, photos, or recordings to this website. Please do not send health records or photos of a communicator through the contact page.

Who else is involved

Apple and Google will process purchases if you buy a plan on the tablet. The company that hosts this website stores the contact messages we receive. We do not share those messages for advertising.

Your choices

On the tablet, you can delete vocabulary, photos, recordings, and the app itself. That removes NivoTouch data from that device. We cannot reach into a tablet from here.

For a message you sent through this site, use the contact page and ask for a copy or for it to be deleted.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects how we handle information, we will update it here. Last updated 17 September 2026.
